"EMC", is a not-for-profit Association named: The headquarters of the Association are fixed in Rome, postcode 00147, Province of Rome, Piazza deli Navigatori, No. 7 staircase L. The Chairman of the Association is domiciled at the aforementioned headquarters.

The Association is open to natural persons not holding Italian citizenship who are expatriates from their country of origin in the Republic of Italy, for family or work reasons, in that:

They are members of the Armed Forces of the United States of America, stationed at military bases in Italy, or their spouses;
They are US Department of Defense, Military and Civilian Personnel and their Dependents and North Atlantic Treaty Organization Nationals utilizing Motor Vehicle Registration Office (MVO) facilities in Italy.
They are essential Personnel of the USO, Schools, Installation Exchanges, Commissaries, American Road Cross, and Technical Representatives of firms having special relations with the United States Armed Forces and Spouses.
They are employees and staff at émbassies and consulates, stationed and accredited in Italy, or their spouses;
They are members and employees of Non-Governmental Organisations and International Organisations present in Italy, or their spouses;
They are active members and employees of multinational companies and firms with offices or subsidiaries in Italy or their spouses.

The purpose and scope of the Association is to provide support, suggestions, assistance, and information for members with the requirements that may be imposed as a consequence of transfer from their place of origin to Italy, and during their time in Italy for work or family reasons, that is, in any event, to facilitate their stay and their integration, including cultural, assisting members in various difficulties or obligations encountered during their presence in Italy
